After hearing the news about Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi I knew I wanted to tribute a piece to them. Shooting footage on a Sony A7III with a 35mm lens, I captured the athletic sport they both played and how each individual can experience growth in this sport and in their life too. The voice over clip of Kobe Bryant talking about greatness is powerful; he really doesn't spend time talking about himself, but rather, talking about others and how greatness is measured by one's impact. Greatness can be seen in the clean type and great shots, but the progress to that point is shown in the organic waves and missed shots.
